Worker Electrocuted, Killed By Live Wire In Mercer County: Police
A worker was electrocuted and killed while working on fiber optic lines, authorities said. Dean Kitchin, 52, of Cherry Hill apparently touched a live power line during the work, they said. His lifeless body was found on top of a box truck, according to Hamilton police. Hamilton police and firefighters were called to 11 Souith Gold Road for a report of a fire on Wednesday, March 1. There was no foul play, Hamilton police said. The Middlesex County Medical Examiner's Office was conducting an autopsy.

Lehigh Valley Man, 36, Killed In Mercer County Crash: Police
A 36-year-old man from the Lehigh Valley area was killed in a crash with an unoccupied trailer in Mercer County, authorities confirmed. The Easton man was behind the wheel of a 2016 Nissan Versa heading northbound on E. State St. Extension near Montana Avenue in Hamilton when he veered into the right shoulder of the road and hit the back of a 2020 EAS trailer around 9:10 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, Hamilton Police said. NJ Police Lt. Mark Horan Takes His Own Life After 24 Years On Force
A police lieutenant who took his own life over the weekend in his New Jersey home is being remembered as a devoted dad and exemplary officer. Hamilton Police Lt. Mark Horan died Saturday, April 30 in his home. He was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, NJ Advance Media reports. Horan joined Hamilton's force in 1998 and assigned to the patrol division. He moved to the anti-crime unit in 2009, and a year later, was promoted to sergeant. In 2017, he was promoted again to lieutenant, serving in the anti-crime, patrol and administration divisions. Four “ghost guns” were confiscated from two 18-year-old men who used them to rob victims at gunpoint, police said. Nestor Rivera and Hassani Webb are accused of advertising a PlayStation 5 game console for sale on Facebook Marketplace and robbing the potential buyer at gunpoint when they met on Peabody Lane in Hamilton on Nov. 19, Hamilton Police said. Trenton Man, 19, Holds Elderly Woman Hostage In Armed Home Invasion
A 19-year-old Trenton man broke into an elderly woman’s home Monday and held her at gunpoint before making off with several of her possessions, including her car, authorities said. Kahider Carmichael is accused of breaking into a Hamilton home on the 300 block of Tindall Avenue by pushing in a window air conditioning unit on the first floor, police said. Carmichael then held the woman at gunpoint and stole several valuable items, including her vehicle, police said. Boy Shot In Hamilton, Gunman At Large, Police Say
A boy was shot in Hamilton over the weekend, and the gunman remains at large, police said. Officers responding to a shooting report near Greenwood Avenue and Connecticut Avenue found a boy with a gunshot wound in his upper left leg just before 6:35 p.m. Saturday, Hamilton Police Chief James M. Alert Issued For Mercer County Girl Missing Again
Police are looking for a Hamilton girl who is missing for the second time this week. Kahiee Howard, 13, was last seen 6:30 a.m. Thursday at her home on the 900 block of William Street by her mother, local police said. She had previously gone missing Monday, but was found safe on Tuesday. Kahiee is 5 feet and 4 inches tall, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in a yellow hoodie and frequents Hamilton and Trenton. Anyone with information on her whereabouts can contact Hamilton Police Det. Patrick Tamasi at 609-581-4026.

When Hamilton police heard future police officer Quinn's fourth birthday party was cancelled due to coronavirus fears, they came to the rescue.
