A Northampton County dump truck driver was pronounced dead at the hospital several days after a crash that also killed his passenger, authorities announced. Bobby Johnson, 66, was driving a dump truck that collided with another vehicle and hit a traffic sign support post near East 4th Street and Emery Street in Bethlehem shortly before 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, authorities said. Authorities have identified Sunday's victim of a Hunterdon County fire at a housing complex for disabled residents. Thomas A. A man killed in a Paterson house fire Tuesday afternoon was identified Friday as longtime city resident Charles Bennett, 83. Responders found Bennett unresponsive in the basement, where the fire in the two-family home on 17th Avenue broke out. He was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
