Verdict: Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Paterson Girl, 5, Convicted Of Lesser Charge A Paterson man originally accused of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl in her home was convicted of a significantly lesser charge last week, authorities said. Eldrys Gonzalez-DeJesus, 44, faces five to 10 years in state prison when he is sentenced on Sept. 15 on the child endangerment conviction returned by jurors in Paterson on Friday, May 12, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M.
