Cliffside Park Squatter Becomes 2nd Homeless Freezing Death In Bergen County In A Week A homeless man was found frozen to death in an abandoned building in Cliffside Park, the second such victim in eastern Bergen County in under a week, authorities said. Like him, four other squatters in the apartments above a vacant Palisade Avenue storefront near the Fairview border were heavily intoxicated when they were found around noon Wednesday, Police Capt.
