DUI Flemington Man Pretends To Be Passenger After Causing Serious 3-Car Crash, Police Say A Flemington man was intoxicated when he crashed his vehicle and climbed into the back seat in an attempt to act as a passenger and avoid apprehension, authorities charged. Flemington officers responding to the 3-car crash report on Main Street near Capner Street found Oscar Garcia-Caballero, 35, in the back seat of one of the vehicles on Saturday, Oct. 16, police said in a Tuesday release. Garcia-Caballero allegedly told police that the driver had fled the scene after the crash, which caused significant damages. Victim Airlifted With Serious Injuries After Falling At Hunterdon County Apartment Complex A victim was airlifted to a local hospital with serious injuries after falling at a Hunterdon County apartment complex, authorities said. The victim fell at Hunter Hills Apartments in Flemington Tuesday morning, the Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad said. Due to the severity of injuries, the victim was airlifted to Capital Health / Helene Fuld by NJSP NorthSTAR with a landing zone at the Flemington-Raritan Intermediate School field on Capner Street, the rescue squad said. Flemington Police also assisted at the scene. Additional details were not released.
