Paterson Woman Tried Stealing Hundreds In Merch From Target Store, Police Say
It was a busy day for Target security on Saturday, June 3.
Two people were arrested for two different shoplifting incidents, attempting to steal hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from the store, Fairfield police said.
Police were dispatched to Target that afternoon for a report of a shoplifter in custody, officers said. While shopping, Catherine Bustamonte, a 36-year-old Paterson resident, placed several items in a black duffel bag and placed other items in a shopping cart, police said.
