Clifton Wrestlers Win Sectional Title

CLIFTON, N.J. -- The Clifton High School varsity wrestling team won the North 1, Group 5 sectional championship by defeating Hackensack on Friday, Feb. 12.

The Mustangs squeaked out a 41-30 victory to capture the title.

The team, which entered as the bracket’s top seed, advanced to the championship by defeating North Bergen in the semifinals following a first-round bye.
