“I am truly honored to be selected to receive this award from the St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital Foundation on behalf of the University,” Waldron said. “We are proud of our long relationship with St. Joseph’s, and work closely with St. Joseph’s on a wide range of mutual topics in the sciences, including curriculum, field experiences for our nursing and kinesiology students, workshops and programs for the community and emergency preparedness. We look forward to continuing to develop additional opportunities for collaboration."

In addition to Waldron’s award, radiologist Michael Steinberg was presented with the Distinguished Physician Award at the gala.
