Hawthorne Christian Students Excel In Music Competition

HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- Hawthorne Christian Academy received several awards in the 2016 Music in the Parks Competition.

The Chorale, Servants of the King and Handbells received the highest rating possible, "Superior," the school noted in a Saturday Facebook post. Servants of the King also received the highest score for the entire season of the competition.

"Congratulations HCA students, and thank you to HCA faculty Anne Paynter and John Peterson," the school continued.
