Wayne Police Investigate Luring Report

WAYNE, N.J. — Wayne police were investigating a report that two men asked a student to get into their car Tuesday.

12/15/2015 7:00 p.m.

The student said the incident occurred at Butternut and Berdan avenues and involved a read, early 2000-model Nissan with two occupants in their late teens or early 20s.

The student was unharmed, authorities said.

The Wayne school district sent an email alert to parents about the incident Tuesday evening.
