Detectives found 12 files of child porn while searching a Union Avenue home Monday, Passaic County Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik said.
The boy was issued delinquency complaints for possession and distribution of child porn, Berdnik said. He was later released to his parents pending future court dates.
"It is always disconcerting when a juvenile is arrested for exploiting other younger children," Berdnik said. "This should be another wakeup call to parents, to closely monitor the computer habits of all juveniles living in their home.”
