Pedestrian Hospitalized, Passaic Police Seek Driver In Hit-And-Run

PASSAIC, N.J. — A 23-year-old Passaic man was hospitalized with injuries that police said weren't life-threatening in a hit-and-run on Tuesday night.

The victim was crossing the street at Van Houten Avenue and Broadway at 9:06 p.m. when he was struck by a gray or dark-colored Honda or Toyota SUV, Sgt. Jonathan Schaer told Daily Voice.

He was taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Schaer said.
