Clifton Man Says Robbers Clobbered Him With Baseball Bat

CLIFTON, N.J.– A 23-year-old Clifton man told city police he was hit in the head with a baseball bat and robbed of his belongings by two assailants.

The man told police who found him on the ground with a head wound on West 2nd Street at 4 p.m. Monday that two or three robbers attacked him, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said. 

He was taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Bracken said.
