Armed Men Take Hoverboard, Backpack, Passaic Man Tells Police

PASSAIC, N.J. — An 18-year-old Passaic man told city police two men with a gun took his hoverboard and backpack Wednesday night.

The man said he was accosted at the intersection of Dayton and Highland avenues.

The man told police he was riding his hoverboard near the intersection of Highland and Dayton avenues around 7:20 p.m. when two men pulled up in a white Infiniti, Detective Andy White said.

Both were wearing black masks and had a black handgun, he said.

After taking the hoverboard and backpack, they drove off on Barbour Avenue toward Clifton, he told police.

This was the second reported incident in recent days involving a white Infinity, White said.
