Born in Connecticut, "Sandra was a home maker who enjoyed shopping, cooking and housekeeping," according to information provided by the funeral home.
Shortino is survived by her grandsons, Bryan and his wife Wendy Shortino, and Marc and his wife Laurie Shortino; and great-grandchildren Samantha, Sydney, Hannah and Matthew. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Shortino; son Bruce; and brothers Marty and Aaron.
A funeral was held on Tuesday, March 8, at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, in Wallington. Cremation was private.
