NORTH HALEDON, N.J. —Peter Broers, 59, of North Haledon, died Oct. 18.
Born in Paterson, he lived in Florida before moving to North Haledon to be with his family.
Prior to his retirement, he ran a self-employed cleaning service.
He is survived by his father, Kenneth Broers; and brothers, Kenneth Broers and Douglas Broers.
He was predeceased by his mother, Marion (nee Topp) Broers.
The family will receive family and friends from 10 until noon Friday at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes followed by a noon service the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the American Cancer Association, P.O. Box 102454, Atlanta, GA 30368-2454.
