TOMS RIVER, N.J. — Lillian Labruna, a Mahwah native, died Sept. 30. She was 96.
Labruna was born in Mahwah and lived in North Haledon before moving to Toms River. She worked as a distributor for Estee Lauder in Oakland until retiring in 1984.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph.
She is survived by her son Joseph and his wife Nana of Wayne, daughter Joan Adams of North Haledon and son Barry of Toms River. three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home handled the arrangements.
Interment was at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Cemetery in Wrightstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Hospice of New Jersey, 400 Broadacres Drive, Bloomfield, NJ 07003 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
