PASSAIC, N.J. —John Andrew Bervine Jr., of Passaic, died Aug. 8. He was 76.
He was born June 15, 1940, in Chesterfield, Va.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army in the 6th Missile Battalion, 56th Artillery Company during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Anthony Bervine of Tokyo, Japan; five daughters, Yolanda E. Voss and husband Roger of Lackawaken, Pa., Nichele M. Bervine of Eatontown, Victoria A. Smith of Clifton, Karina J. Szyba of Clifton and Dominika P. Bervine of Passaic; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Visiting hours will be from 9-11 a.m. Friday followed by a service at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in South Hackensack.
