WAYNE, N.J. -- Helen Halma, a resident of Wayne, died Wednesday, Feb.10. She was 92.
Halma was a Sunday school teacher and Calvinette Counselor at her church and also a Bible teacher at the North Jersey Developmental Center for more then 20 years. She also volunteered at Wayne General Hospital and the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff.
She is survived by her children, Linda McCoy and her husband Michael of Maryland, Ruth Halma of Prospect Park, Joan Vander Haak and her husband Bob of Washington, Barbara Halma of Hawthorne and Edward Halma and his wife Deborah of East Hanover; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Cornelius Halma Jr.
