Florence E. Craft, 96, Of Prospect Park

PROSPECT PARK, N.J. – Florence E. Craft, a lifetime resident of Prospect Park, died Friday, March 11. She was 96.

Before retiring, she worked for the board of education in Prospect Park for 20 years. Early in her life, she graduated from St. Vincent’s School of Nursing as a pediatric nurse.

She is survived by her sons, Robert and his wife, Linda, Bill and his wife, Maureen and Glen and his wife, Diana; her niece, Kathy Borinski and her husband, Stan; her grandchildren, Bob, Becky, Christopher, Eric, Brandon and Kylie; and great grandchildren, Landen, Matthew, RoseMary and Samantha.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Craft.

The family will receive family and friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s R.C. Church, Prospect Park. Interment to be at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
