Osha Finds Safety Violations At Paterson Laundry Facility

PATERSON, N.J. -- Prestige Industries is facing workplace safety violations at its Paterson facility following an inspection by the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration, NJ.com reported.

Federal inspectors found the same hazards that contributed to a worker's death in New York in 2011, the story said. The company could be fined as much as $305,000 for allegedly exposing Paterson employees to safety issues, according to NJ.com.

OSHA officials called it "unacceptable" and "intolerable" that the company would have similar safety violations after the worker's death, NJ.com reported.
