County officials invite property owners to an open house Wednesday, Nov. 4 or Thursday, Nov. 5, to learn more about flood risk using the new maps.

Everyone is at risk of flooding, they warn, and should be aware of the probable levels to be prepared.

The Nov. 4 open house is in the Carnevale Center, 10 Lenox Ave., Pompton Lakes and the Nov. 5 open house is in Passaic Valley Regional High School, 100 E. Main St., Little Falls. Sessions are at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. each day.
