HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- The borough of Hawthorne revised its garbage and recycling pickup schedule because of upcoming holidays.

  • Christmas Day garbage (Zone 4): will be picked up Saturday, Dec. 26
  • Christmas Day recycling (Zone 4): will be picked up Saturday, Dec. 26.
  • New Year's Day garbage (Zone 4): will be picked up Saturday, Jan. 2. This is bulk garbage day.

All other Zones will be picked-up as scheduled on regular garbage/recycling days. 

The 2016 Calendar erroneously states that Jan. 1 garbage will be picked up Jan. 5.
