A bomb threat written on an extension cord in a classroom caused an evacuation of Passaic High School Thursday morning as officials continued to investigate, authorities said.

Passaic County Sheriff's Office detectives seized around $7,500 worth of heroin during a traffic stop in Paterson, authorities said.
