The winner, Michael Williams, was a truck driver for years until an injury left him unable to work and facing financial challenges, lottery officials said.
That all changed when he bought a lucky ticket at Gaby Mini Market in Paterson.
Williams said he plans to purchase a home down south where the money can go further.
