Pet Portraits With Santa Will Benefit Wayne Shelter

WAYNE, N.J. -- The Wayne Animal Shelter and Rock Ledge Garden Center will host the 9th Annual Pet Portraits with Santa Sunday, Nov. 1.

For the ninth year, Santa will be on hand at the Rock Ledge Garden Center in Wayne to have his photo taken with your pet.

Pets of all types and pet families are invited to sit for portraits with Santa. A $20 sitting fee includes a 5” x 7” portrait, and proceeds will benefit the shelter. Other photo options are available for packages that will be available the week of Nov. 30. Payment is by cash or checks only; no credit cards.

Portraits will be taken from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2-5 p.m. at the Rock Ledge Garden Center, 1621 Hamburg Tpke. For information, call the shelter at (973) 694-0767 or e-mail animalshelter@waynetownship.com.

Thinking of adopting a pet? Visit the shelter at 201 Pompton Plains Cross Road. Adoption hours are from 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, noon to 3 p.m. Saturdays and by appointment. Animal caretakers are at the shelter from 8 a.m. to noon daily to answer questions.
