The clinics are scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, 10 and 17, at the Wayne Township Municipal Garage, on Dey Road from 6 to 8 p.m.
All pets must be accompanied by an adult and leashed or contained in carriers.
Proof of 2016 license is required. Residents who haven't yet licensed their dogs or cats for 2016 can do so during these rabies clinics -- though there's a $10 late fee for each animal licensed after the Feb. 15 deadline.
The license fee is lower if your dog is spayed or neutered -- bring proof. If your pup is fixed, the fee is $13.20. Otherwise, it's $16.20. For fixed kitties, the license fee $8, and it's $15 otherwise. Copies of all certificates showing proof of rabies, spaying or neutering will be returned.
Having "gone green," the Health Department is longer mailing dog and cat license renewals. Residents need to provide email address so reminder notices can be sent. If you haven't already done so or if your email address has changed, email AnimalControl@waynetownship.com or call 973-694-1800, ext. 3313, with this information.
You can also call that number if you have any questions.
