Nearly 40 Employers To Participate In Passaic County Job Fair

WAYNE, N. J. -- Thirty-six businesses and organizations are planning to participate in the diversified career job fair Thursday at William Paterson University's Continuing Education Center in Wayne.

Job seekers are encouraged to bring at least 30 copies of a current resume, and wear professional attire. The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 14 in the center, 1600 Valley Road, Wayne.

A snow date is planned Jan. 15.

Some of the employers participating are: Aflac, Atlantic Health System, NJ Transit, Pep Boys, Pennsylvania State Police, Sleepy's, and United States Park Police. Visit the website for a full list.

Several workshops are also planned for the fair, including using social media in a job search and applying for government jobs. There will also be a resume workshop and a session on veterans' assistance programs.
