Sook Pastry in Ridgewood was named New Jersey's "Best Bakery To Treat Yourself In," according to Yelp.
The bakery, at 24 S. Broad St., offers cakes, pastries, cookies, tarts and baked goods. Some of the cakes include the Ridgewood with chocolate mousse, vanilla crème brûlée filling, chocolate sponge and the Lincoln, with white bisquit sacher, chocolate ganache, coffee cream and coffee extract.
The bakery has a 4.3 rating on Yelp.
"Pastries are delectable," said one Yelp reviewer. "I love sitting and having a tea and pastry pretending I'm in Downton Abbey. Their tarts especially are a favorite of mine."
"I love this little nook," said another Yelp reviewer. "These were some of the cutest and vibrant colors I had seen in a pastry shop. The ambience is great, the staff is so accommodating, and I just loved being in that space."
