A porch pirate from Passaic snatched a pair of Nikes from a home, then headed to a local thrift shop to sell them -- and was promptly busted by Wallington police detectives who'd been watching him the entire time, authorities said. The owner of a kinkajou who bit an 8-year-old boy in a Bergen County park apparently had all the necessary paperwork for his pet, authorities said, but that doesn’t ease the minds of the boy’s mother -- or wildlife experts. Never one to be confined to a desk, Wallington Police Chief Carmello Imbruglia once again assisted his officers in capturing a wanted offender. The alert went out after ex-con Adam Jaworski of Garfield snatched two bottles of Johnnie Walker black from a local liquor store and fled on a bicycle during Monday’s snowstorm, Capt. Shawn Kudlacik said.
