Jersey Shore Man Arrested In Road Rage Incident: Police
A 24-year-old driver from Point Pleasant was arrested in connection with a road rage incident and fleeing Brick police, authorities said. Jonathan Weydig was arrested with the assistance of Point Pleasant police, according to Brick police. Weydig had six outstanding warrants and was charged with eluding officers, obstruction and hindering apprehension, police said. Weydig also was issued 12 motor vehicle summonses, they said. Students were fortunately unharmed and a school bus driver was hit with tickets after colliding with another vehicle Wednesday, May 10, authorities said. The crash occurred at Route 518 and Vreeland Drive in Montgomery Township around 4:15 p.m., according to police. A 24-year-old Middlesex County woman was found with more than 450 bags of heroin when she was pulled over for driving under the influence in Hunterdon County, authorities said.
