Service to NJ Transit and Amtrak trains was disrupted for the second time this week on Thursday, June 20 due to both power issues and brush fires along the NJ Turnpike, officials said. Amtrak service between Philadelphia and New Haven had been suspended while NJ Transit service in and out of NY Penn Station was also suspended, due to power issues on the Amtrak line, NJ Transit said. The crash occurred southbound between Parsonage Road and Grandview Avenue shortly before noon on Thursday, May 23, Edison police said. A 63-year-old Somerset resident was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a car crash on the afternoon of Sunday, March 10, authorities said. At 2:58 p.m., first responders responded to Route 206 at Center Drive for a vehicle collision with injuries, Montgomery police said.
