Dump Truck Flips On Jersey Shore
There was a debris spill when a dump truck overturned on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The truck flipped at about 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2 on Route 18 northbound — south of the Garden State Parkway — in Tinton Falls, according to the state Department of Transportation. One right lane of three was closed, 511nj.org reported.

Pedestrian Crash Reported On Jersey Shore
Pedestrians were struck by a vehicle on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The crash occurred about noon on Thursday, Sept. 8 on Route 36 near Palmer Avenue in Hazlet, according to the state Department of Transporation. Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Burlington County
Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in South Jersey. The crash occurred about 1:30 a.m. Thursday on Route 130 southbound near Andover Road in Cinnaminson, according to initial reports. Four Route 3 Lanes Shut Down After Passing Crane Hits Overhead Signs
A crane clipped the bottom of a group of signs that hang over Route 3 in East Rutherford on Monday, scattering debris and closing lanes. The bucket-type truck hit the signs for Route 120 East Rutherford/American Dream and the Meadowlands racetrack and football training facility around 3 p.m. Police immediately closed the exit and two eastbound lanes. A driver was serious injured during a series of tractor-trailer crashes that closed both sides of a notorious stretch of Route 287 in Oakland, jamming traffic until well after sunrise Wednesday. : Tree Downs Wires, Burns Route 17 Pavement
UPDATE: Southbound Route 17 remained closed temporarily after a transformer fire downed wires and burned a portion of the roadway Wednesday night in Waldwick. Police initially closed the highway north at Allendale Road and south at Cameron Road around 9:15 p.m. Several area power outages were reported. Police, firefighters and the state Department of Transportation responded.
