Monmouth University pollsters have tried to answer a question that has been hard to solve for many in the Garden State: Where is Central Jersey exactly? The Monmouth University Polling Institute released a survey on Tuesday, Apr. 16 that asked New Jerseyans what region they live in and if they believe their region gets a fair share of state resources. Morris County HS Freshman Critical After Struck By Vehicle On Route 46: Fundraiser
A freshman at Morris Hills High School is in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle on Thursday, Feb. 22 on Route 46 in Rockaway, according to a fundraiser set up to support his family. Emmanuel Ramnarain sustained a traumatic brain injury and is at Morristown Medical Center, Kristyn Dietrich, a family friend of Ramnarain's and the organizer of the fundraiser, said. A Sussex County high school administrator had sexual contact multiple times with an underage student in Bergen County when he was a middle school band director there, authorities charged. A 54-year-old dump truck driver killed in a crash on Route 78 had been mourning the loss of his mom, loved ones say. Kevin A. Cougle, of Rockaway, died when his truck and other vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Exit 49B in Springfield around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, New Jersey State Police said. 18-Year-Old Driver Ejected In Route 287 Crash Faces Long Road To Recovery
The 18-year-old driver ejected in a Route 287 crash over the weekend is facing a long road to recovery. Kamil D. Nowak, of Rockaway, was heading south in the express lanes when his Infiniti ran off the road to the left and struck multiple trees around 1:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12 in Bridgewater, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. Nowak was ejected and rushed to the hospital, where he has remained since and undergone multiple surgeries, according a GoFundMe campaign. The campaign says Nowak will face a long road to recovery. 18-Year-Old Driver Ejected, Seriously Hurt In Route 287 Crash
An 18-year-old driver from Rockaway was seriously hurt in a crash on Route 287 overnight in Somerset County, authorities said. Kamil D. Nowak was heading south in the express lanes when his Infiniti ran off the road to the left and struck multiple trees around 1:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12 in Bridgewater, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. He was ejected and seriously injured. The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available.

Beloved NJ 6-Year-Old Dies Suddenly In Sleep
Beloved Morris County six-year-old Daniella Obiageli Tetteh died suddenly in her sleep and was pronounced dead at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ on Sunday, April 3. Lovingly called “Princess Ella,” Daniella was born in Paterson before moving to Rockaway with her family, where she lived at the time of her death, her obituary says. Daniella was a student at Pillar Elementary School in Livingston, according to her memorial. NJ Bed Bath & Beyond Store Among Dozens Closing
Nearly 40 more Bed Bath & Beyond stores will be closing in February, according to a new report from USA Today. Among them, one in New Jersey. Liquidation sales are underway at the 37 stores, including the one on River Road in Edgewater, the outlet says.
