! Missing North Jersey Man, 83, Located In Sayreville
An 83-year-old Washington Township man who went missing was found safe and sound 50 miles away, authorities said. Paul Corra was found in Middlesex County, Washington Township Police Chief Richard Skinner said early Friday, April 29. Sayreville police spotted Corra's 2003 Ford Ranger and stopped him, Skinner said. Corra had been last seen at ShopRite Liquors in Hillsdale around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, the chief said. He was involved in an accident in Fort Lee that afternoon but drove off, Skinner said. He was located shortly after 5:30 a.m. Friday.

Police Boost Presence At High School In Bergen Amid Alleged Threats
Police beefed up their presence at Westwood Regional High School following what some considered a threat triggered by an incident between students. It began after an 18-year-old student allegedly stole a cellphone from a younger one, multiple sources confirmed. The alleged victim and a friend grabbed the older student and beat him in a school hallway after lunch this past Tuesday, the sources said. A 15-year-old Bergen County boy was robbed when he tried to buy a pair of used sneakers from a stranger at a local shopping center, authorities said. The boy arranged through a mutual friend to meet the stranger, who showed up Thursday in an SUV with a companion at Washington Town Center on Pascack Road, Washington Township Police Capt. John Calamari said. After getting the sneakers, he said, the boy paid the seller through an online money transfer. Responding To Dispute, Washington Township PD Bust Resident With Variety Of Drugs, $10,000 Cash
Evidence in plain sight produced the arrest of a Washington Township man who local police said had a variety of drugs along with more than $10,000 in suspicious proceeds. Township officers responding to a dispute at a Manhattan Avenue home spotted the visible contraband, investigated and arrested Robert Marino, 60, Police Chief Richard Skinner said Thursday.
