Devoted Monmouth County Dad Dies After Decade-Long Battle With ‘Aggressive’ Brain Cancer, 37 Devoted Monmouth County father Ryan Randall Briehof died on Thursday, May 5 following a long and valiant battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer. He was 37. Ryan grew up in Copake before moving to Howell, where he lived at the time of his death, his social media page says. Ryan attended Northeastern University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2007, according to his obituary.
