Dr. Harvey Hirsch, 68, Beloved Lakewood Pediatrician Dies Of Coronavirus Dr. Harvey Hirsch, a beloved, longtime pediatrician in Ocean County died of complications from coronavirus on Tuesday. He was 68. Gov. Phil Murphy, at a daily news briefing Friday, praised the doctor's commitment to practice on the "front lines" during the COVID-19 pandemic and his warm spirit.
