Dog Missing For Nearly A Week After Somerset County Crash Reunited With Owner
Bonnie, a beloved Sheltie dog who ran off when her owner was struck by a vehicle in Somerset County, has returned home after nearly a week, police have confirmed. Bonnie was on a walk with her owner when the woman was struck near the intersection of Crusader Way and Washington Street in Bound Brook around 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, Daily Voice reported. 82-Year-Old Woman Dead, 2 Police Officers Injured In Jackson House Fire
An 82-year-old woman died, a dog was missing and first responders were injured in a Jackson house fire Thursday night, authorities said. The blaze broke out around 8:45 p.m. at 10 Lehigh Blvd., which was fully engulfed in flames as firefighters responded, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said. Firefighters found the body of the 82 year-old victim in the downstairs portion of the home, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, Billhimer said. ? Woman's Rental Car Stolen From Hudson County Gas Station With Cat Inside
Police are on the lookout for a rental car stolen from a Hudson County gas station -- the victim's cat still inside, authorities said. The Jeep Cherokee with Illinois registration was stolen from the Speedway Gas Station on Harrison Avenue around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 7, Harrison police said. The victim's cat, Willow, was inside the Jeep when it was stolen. Willow is approximately 14 years old, 20 pounds and was in a pink pet carrier at the time, police said.
