With no alligator sightings in a week, Middlesex Borough officials have decided to reopen the park where it was first spotted last month. After consulting with NJ Division of Fish & Wildlife specialists, Middlesex Borough officials have opened Victor Crowell Park with restrictions in place, Middlesex police said on Thursday, Sept. 7. Police in Central Jersey are looking for a 16-year-old girl who was reported missing last week. Lisaldy Peraza-Cruz is 5-foot-4 and weighs 125 pounds, Middlesex Borough police said. Middlesex County Man, 18, Charged With Running Child Porn Sharing Program
A Middlesex County man was arrested on accusations he ran a child pornography sharing program from his home on Friday, authorities said. Aofei Zou, 18, of Middlesex, was charged with second-degree using a file-sharing program to store items depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of children and third-degree possession of child pornography, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Matthew P. : Middlesex Volunteer Firefighter Hurt Battling Auto Shop Blaze
A volunteer firefighter was injured battling a two-alarm blaze that extensively damaged an automotive shop and six vehicles in Central Jersey, authorities said. Middlesex Borough Police Department received a 9-1-1 call at 1:57 p.m. on Tuesday reporting a structure fire at Stoms ABS Automotive, 770 Bound Brook Road (Route 28), police said. Teens Charged In Middlesex County Arson Fire
Authorities charged two teens with torching a Middlesex County commercial building Thursday night. Arrested Friday were Ryan Deahl and Eric Mejia-Vides, both 18. Both are charged with arson, burglary and conspiracy to commit both, Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Middlesex Borough Police Chief Matthew Geist said in a joint release. Deahl also was charged with having a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, they said.
