After 44 Years, Book Is Returned To NJ Library
Forty-four years is a long time to borrow a library book. But it got returned, according to Mercer County library officials. Andrea Merrick, manager of the Hopewell Branch, said the book, "Back to Basics," was dropped off with a box of donations at the circulation desk. The book — by the Editors of Flying Magazine — (copyright 1977) goes over the concepts and basics of flying a plane. The library's maintenance person, Rocco Genovesi, later looked through the box to see if there were any wet or moldy books that would need to be discarded and came across one that looked like a library book.…

19: Mercer County Orders Closure Of Its Government Facilities
Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes ordered the closure of all county-run facilities, except for essential functions, because of the coronavirus public health crisis. “The purpose of this action is to reduce the movement of people in county buildings for the health and safety of our employees and the public with whom they interact,” Hughes said on Monday.
