Spotswood Driver, 53, Dies After Her Car Topples Telephone Pole, Collides With U-Haul Truck UPDATED: An unidentified driver was killed on Monday afternoon when her car toppled a telephone pole and collided with a parked U-Haul truck, authorities said. Route 9 was closed in both directions in Marlboro and Manalapan townships after the fatal one-car crash at 1 p.m. toppled wires onto four other vehicles, a Marlboro police spokesman said. School Lockdown In Morganville A school in Monmouth County was locked down Thursday afternoon, according to reports. Marlboro Township police confirmed they were called to CPC High Point School in Morganville at 3 p.m. for an unknown incident, but could not report any other details. Circumstances prompting the lockdown were unknown. Initial unconfirmed reports said the call appears to be a false alarm but that, as a precaution, police were clearing the school at 1 High Point Center Way in Morganville.
