A 55-year-old North Carolina resident was convicted in the June 2021 shooting death of Renown Wilson, a 55-year-old Orange resident, authorities said. James Height was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter in the first degree on Wednesday, August 9 following a two-week trial in Essex County Superior Court, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. A New Jersey mom of three has learned her fate after being convicted of suffocating her toddler who prosecutors say she killed in part for interfering with her affair. A 26-year-old man from New York City has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for killing a drug dealer, authorities said. Anthony Barksdale, also known as Shakar Barksdale and previously from Seaside Heights, was found guilty after a jury trial in the murder of Steven E.
