Crashed, Burning Motorcycle Found On Garden State Parkway, Police Search For Rider WITNESSES SOUGHT: Authorities turned to the public for help finding the rider of a crashed, burning motorcycle that was found in the left lane of the southbound Garden State Parkway in Paramus early Monday night. The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. near mile marker 162.4, New Jersey State Police Sgt. First Class Lawrence Peele said Tuesday. Maywood Woman, 41, Killed In Christmas Crash On NJ Turnpike A 41-year-old Maywood woman was killed in a crash on the NJ Turnpike overnight Christmas Eve, authorities said. Kelly Bey was behind the wheel of a Toyota Camry, and she stopped in the center lane near milepost 120 in Teaneck, when she was struck by a Lexus SUV just before 1 a.m. Friday, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele said. Bey was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Lexus sustained non-life-threatening injuries.  The cause of the crash remained under investigation as of 4:45 p.m. Friday.

State Police: Box Truck Overturns, Spills Tires, Debris Across Route 78 Route 78 eastbound was shut down for more than three hours Tuesday morning after a box truck overturned and spilled tires and debris all over the roadway, state police said. The truck overturned near milepost 29.8 between Lebanon and Bedminster, causing the tires and debris inside to spill onto the road shortly before 6:30 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Lawrence Peele said. The driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Peele said. All lanes were re-opened around 9:30 a.m., Peele said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
