Somerset County Man Tells Convenient Store Clerk 'I've Been Shot,' Then Collapses A Plainfield man walked into a convenience store with a gunshot wound then collapsed on the ground Saturday night, authorities said Monday. The 28-year-old man went into a Route 22 store in Green Brook Township, told the clerk that he had been shot, then collapsed just after 11 p.m., Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said in a joint release. Medical crews treated the man at the scene before taking him to a local trauma center for emergency surgery. He is listed in stable condition, authorities said. She was 63 years old Baran and her husband, Ziggy, operated Warrenville Plumbing & Heating for many years, according to her obituary.
