Police ID Driver, 28, Killed In Head-On Gloucester County Crash With Tractor-Trailer Authorities have identified the driver of an SUV killed in a head-on crash with a tractor trailer late Wednesday in Gloucester County. Carl E. Cheeseman Jr., 30, of Vineland, was driving westbound on Route 40 near Rosemont Avenue and Harding Avenue in Newfield about 11 p.m. when police think he swerved to avoid a deer. His SUV entered the eastbound lane striking the truck, which was driven by a 28-year-old Vineland man, according to Franklin Township Police. School Mini-Bus Catches Fire On Route 17 Paramus firefighters doused a small blaze on a school mini-bus on Route 17 late Thursday afternoon. No children were aboard the bus when the interior fire broke out on the southbound highway near Midland Avenue. The driver wasn't injured.
