Morris County Crash Damages 8 Telephone Poles, Causes Widespread Power Outage (Photos) A Monday night crash in Morris County damaged eight telephone poles and caused widespread power outages, authorities said. The Mount Tabor Volunteer Fire Department responded to the crash report on Route 10 near Pelican Ski Shops in Denville just after 8:20 p.m. The crash brought down power lines and transformers, causing several to catch fire, the department said. Route 10 was closed in both directions for the investigation and repairs, which took several hours. Morris County Firefighters Douse Balcony Blaze At Multi-Family Home (Photos) Numerous fire crews throughout Morris County helped to douse a Tuesday afternoon blaze that broke out on the second-floor balcony of a multi-family home. The Boonton Fire Department responded to the call and requested a second alarm after observing flames billowing from the balcony of the two-story brick building in Boonton around 2:50 p.m., the department said. The fire was placed under control in about 10 minutes, and crews remained at the scene for about an hour and a half, authorities said. Prosecutor: Jersey Man, 41, Found With Bloody Clothes After Killing Mom, Burning Down Home A North Jersey man accused of killing his mother and burning down his home Monday morning has been jailed on murder and arson charges, authorities said. Anthony Citro, 41, was found with blood on his clothing as police responded to a fire at his home at 37 Chestnut Hill Dr. E. in Denville just before 7:25 a.m., Acting Morris County Prosecutor Robert J.
