Three high schools and four middle schools in Central Jersey have returned to "all-remote" instruction due to new coronavirus outbreaks. Woodbridge Township School District has switched to all-remote learning at several schools after a week-long fall break. Woodbridge Schools Superintendent Robert Zega said the schools returned to virtual instruction starting Tuesday and continuing until Nov. 23. An elementary school in Middletown has resumed classes after a small coronavirus outbreak. Two people from Nut Swamp Elementary School tested positive for COVID-19 and others were asked to quarantine . Multiple people who had close contact with those two individuals are currently quarantining, Middletown Board of Education President Pamela Rogers told Patch. She did not specify whether the positive cases involved students or staff. A South Jersey gym reopened for a second consecutive day Tuesday in defiance of a state order against workout facilities operating during the coronavirus outbreak. And for a second time, police issued tickets to the owners at Atilis Gym. At least one workout customer also was ticketed while leaving the gym after he refused to give his name, Bellmawr police said. Reports: FBI Agents Raid Lakewood Warehouse
Nearly two dozen FBI agents and other law enforcement officers descended on a warehouse in Lakewood Industrial Park on Wednesday, according to multiple reports. Several local news outlets reported that N-95 masks -- necessary protective gear during the coronavirus outbreak -- were being sold at a business at the warehouse off Swarthmore Avenue. Trenton Offers 'Grab And Go' Dinners For Children, Mercer Meals On Wheels Widens Delivery
The City of Trenton is distributing free dinners to children at these locations from 4 to 6 p.m.: Sam Naples Recreation Center, 611 Chestnut St.; West Ward Center, 351 Prospect St.; and the Ike Williams Recreation Center, 238 Clay St. The Trenton-Area Soup Kitchen, meanwhile, is encouraging volunteers to help Mercer County distribute meals during the coronavirus outbreak.
