Vehicle Overturns In Bridgewater, Delays Expected: Police A car crash led a vehicle to overturn in Bridgewater on the morning of Thursday, March 28, according to an alert issued by police. The crash occurred on the S-Curves of Chimney Rock Road, police said. Lanes are currently closed between Gilbride Road and Thompson Avenue, police said. Motorists should expect delays and avoid the area if possible, police said. It is unknown if there are any injuries.

Motorcyclist Injured In Drive-By Route 287 Shooting, 3 In Custody: State Police Three people were in custody after a shooting that injured a motorcyclist on Route 287 in Somerset County Sunday, authorities said. The man called police from a parking lot on Chimney Rock Road in Bridgewater, saying he was riding southbound on the highway when he was shot at around 6:40 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Alejandro Goez said. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Goez said. Car Overturns In Bridgewater Firefighters rushed to the scene of an overturned vehicle over the weekend in Bridgewater. The vehicle flipped on Chimney Rock Road around 4:30 p.m., below the dam in the S curves.  No serious injuries were reported and the car was towed from the scene. The Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department, Martinsville Rescue Squad and the Bridgewater Township Police Department responded.
