Injuries Reported In NJ Turnpike Tractor-Trailer Crash There was a tractor-trailer crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in South Jersey, authorities said.  The crash occurred at 6:27 a.m. Wednesday, June 29 southbound near milepost 1.1 in Carneys Point Township. There were no serious injuries, New Jersey State Police said. Based on a preliminary investigation a tractor-trailer rear-ended another tractor-trailer stopped in traffic. The driver of one vehicle was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, State Police said. North Carolina Man Killed When Tractor-Trailer Crashes On Turnpike A tractor-trailer driver from North Carolina was killed in a fiery crash on the NJ Turnpike Tuesday, June 14, authorities said. Randy Wayne Morgan, 59, of Biscoe, NC was driving north on the highway approaching the Interchange 1 toll plaza in Carneys Point Township around 3:20 a.m. when he struck a concrete barrier that separates the first and second toll lanes, New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota said.
