A driver was rescued and rushed to a nearby trauma center after a vehicle plunged down a steep embankment and landed in a pond in Hunterdon County, authorities said. The Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad responded to the crash near Route 202 and Colony Road in Raritan Township just after 8:35 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, the department said. Central Jersey Driver Trapped, Hospitalized After Route 9 Crash
A motorist was hospitalized after a rush-hour crash in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. on Route 9 in Woodbridge Township, initial reports said. The driver was pinned and needed extensive help from firefighters to be freed from the vehicle, according to an unconfirmed report.
